Iranian Ziggurat tour is a joint venture of historical monument, culture, and nature of Iran from North to south, west to east.

day 01: Arrival-Tehran
Arrival at Tehran airport, transfer to hotel & rest. O/N Tehran.

day 02:  Tehran
After breakfast, we will visit Archaeological & Islamic Art Museum, the finest museum in Iran where you’ll view a collection of ancient Persian civilization and also jewelry museum. O/N Tehran.

day 03: Tehran-Ramsar
Drive by coach through a beautiful mountainous road from west of Tehran toward the rainforest plain, which lays down the Caspian Sea. O/N Ramsar, a charming residence on Caspian coast.

day 04: Ramsar – Anzali
Drive along the Caspian coast and visit tea plantation, rice farms and also fascinating wooden houses. Arrive in Anzali port, famous for its international pond and visit Caviar processing factories. O/N Anzali.

day 05: Anzali-Qazvin
Drive to Qazvin via Alborz mountainous road. Arrive in Qazvin, the early home of Kassites in 24th century BC which was also the first Safavids capital in 16th century AC. Visit some archeological sites there. O/N Qazvin

day 06: Qazvin- Soltanieh – Hamedan
Drive to Hamedan, en route we will visit Soltanieh, one of the very ancient civilization zone from 7000 B.C. and Soltanieh dome built by Mongolian empires in 13th century. O/N Hamedan.

day 07: Hamedan
We will visit Ester & Mordkhay tombs (Jewish holy shrine), Alaviyan dome and Hegmataneh hill. O/N Hamedan

day 08: Hamedan – Kermanshah
Drive to Kermanshah, en route we will visit Anahita complex, built in honor of the female guardian of waters, in Kangavar. Continue to Bisotun which can be called a living museum of Iranian civilization from ancient time to present with the biggest Cuneiform inscription (tablet of Darius I), where you also visit the stone statue of Hercules in the mountain. O/N Kermanshah.

day 09: Kermanshah – Khorramabad
Drive from the fold belt of Zagros Mountain. Continue to Khorramabad, once the center of Assassins who imposed a guerrilla war against non Iranian rulers in 11-12th century, and visit Falak-al-Aflac castle, O/N Khorramabad.

day 10: Khorramabad-Ahwaz
Drive to Ahwaz. O/N Ahwaz

day 11: Ahwaz-Shush
Drive to Shush and visit this beautiful city built 5500 years ago, continue to Chogha Zambil, one of the oldest ziggurats in the world.  O/N Ahwaz.

day 12: Ahwaz- Bishapoor – Shiraz
Drive to Shiraz via Bishapoor, an ancient city in heart of history, built as the commemoration of Persian Victory in Persian-Roman war. O/N Shiraz.

day 13: Shiraz
We will visit Eram and Narenjestan Gardens, Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, Khan Theological School, Hafez (or Saadi) mausoleum , Vakil complex and  the most astonishing  mirror decoration of Aliebnehamze Holy Shrine. O/N Shiraz.

day 14: Shiraz – Persepolis – Necropolis – Pasargad – Yazd
Drive to Yazd, en route we will visit Quran gate, Persepolis (a castle made by free workers not slaves in 500 BC) Nekropol (tombs of Achaemenian kings) and Pasargad, tomb of Cyrus the great which was the Achaemenian center. O/N Yazd

day 15: Yazd
According to UNESCO, Yazd is one of the oldest cities in the world; it is like a living museum. We will visit narrow alleys, the highest wind tower of city which keeps the building cool, Jame mosque from 14th century and the silk weaving workshop where exquisite brocades are still made on traditional looms. O/N Yazd.

day 16: Yazd – Isfahan
In the morning we will explore on foot this ancient city and visit a Zoroastrian temple where sacred fire has been kept alive for hundreds of years and is now a Zoroastrian pilgrim center. This is an opportunity to learn about Zoroastrianism which had been the Persian religion until Arabs brought Islam to Iran. Then go to Towers of Silence on outskirts of the city, which was a burial place for Zoroastrian.  In the afternoon drive to Isfahan, en route we will visit Nareen Castle & an old caravanserai in Meibod and a carpet workshop in  Naeen . O/N Isfahan

day 17: Isfahan
In the morning we will visit Naghshe Jahan square, the huge open square in center of Isfahan with four monuments at four sides including Imam mosque covered inside and outside with intricate turquoise tiles, The smaller Sheikh Lotfollah mosque contains some of the best mosaics from 17th century, Ali Ghapoo Palace which was the first skyscraper in Iran and Isfahan bazaar where you can visit the workshop of artists who paint miniature sometimes on bone. In the afternoon, we will visit  Si-o-Se Pol (thirty three) and Khajoo bridges over zayanderud, relax in one of the traditional tea houses, drink tea and smoke Persian water pipe. O/N Isfahan.

day 18: Isfahan
We will visit Armenian quarter of Jolfa, Vank cathedral, Jame mosque, Shaking Minarets and Chehel Sotoun known as forty column palace with its exquisite wall painting. O/N Isfahan.

day 19: Isfahan– Abyaneh
Drive to Abyaneh, an ancient fascinating village with its colorfully dressed inhabitants and mud brick houses, where little has changed for several centuries. En route we will visit Natanz Jame Mosque. O/N Abyaneh.

day 20: Abyaneh- Kashan- Tehran
We drive to Tehran, en route we will visit Fin complex in Kashan, a city well known for carpet, continue to Tehran. O/N Tehran

day 21: Tehran-Departure
Transfer to Tehran Intl. airport for your return flight.
