The name of Iran has been taken from the Aryans Group who came from Russian region & it means Aryan Land, whom are Asia Minor, were nomadic people who migrated to this area in the 2nd millennium B.C. The excavation shows the existence of different civilization dating from 8000 B.C and earlier who had lived in this plateau. Later on civilizations, such as the Akkadians, the Urartian who lived in the North-West of Iran, and the Elamite who lived in south west of Iran.
